Online Services
The MFC is rising to the challenge imposed by the COVID-19 crisis. We continue to serve the needs of the community at large, providing SAFE services so that your children can continue to develop their skills and thrive. While our clinic remains safely open, we are also offering a variety of services modified for telepractice.
The Montreal Fluency Centre has been providing language-based treatments and learning support for remote communities around Quebec, often to Anglophones or members of indigenous communities for over five years.
What is Telepractice?
It is also called “distance treatment” and is a means of offering speech and language therapy services remotely and safely through an online platform. Using telepractice, our professionals will be able to advise you and treat children, while minimizing the risks of transmission of COVID-19. Telepractice also offers benefits including flexibility of scheduling, services in your home or in partnership with your school, after-school programming, opportunities for children in remote communities, continuing professional education, informational webinars and more.
